This is a really lovely B&B/holiday cottage. It's in a stunning and peaceful part of Derbyshire, and the cottage is done up to an extremely high spec and is extremely relaxing. The food was great, and it was a lovely surprise in the morning to draw back the curtains and see all of the ducks and chickens. Jackie and Colin, December 2009
This cottage is idyllic and inspiring, a truly relaxing old romantic place. The view from the kitchen window is like a painting you can only dream of being in. The house was so comfortable and we loved the sounds of nature all around us. A true escape to the country. We walked around Lathkill Dale and followed the River Bradford along a section of the Limestone Way - we never needed the car once! I have never seen such beauty in one area. We stayed for the Bank Holiday weekend, at really short notice (5 hours!), and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The cottage is beautifully restored and designed, with everything you could want to have a comfortable stay. The breakfasts are a must-have, and set us both up for the rest of the day.
